Jeffrey Izenman is involved in the firm’s strategic planning and business development. Jeff is currently employed by Sterling Fund Management where he has responsibilities for other investment management initiatives within various Sterling affiliates. He was the co-founder and co-CEO of BRI Partners LLC, a venture capital/seeding firm for early stage hedge fund managers, the Executive Vice President of Rabar Market Research, a hedge fund specializing in quantitative investment strategies in global derivatives, and the Executive Vice President of Zuckerman Investment Group, a long-only equity value manager. Prior to that, Jeff was Partner in the Financial Services Group of the law firm of Katten Muchin Rosenman LLP. He also served as the Chairman of the Managed Funds Association, a leading trade association and lobbying organization for the hedge fund industry, and was a member of the Business Conduct Committee of the National Futures Association. Jeff received a BS in Accountancy with High Honors from the University of Illinois and a JD, cum laude, from the University of Michigan Law School. He has also passed the Uniform Certified Public Accountants Examination.
