About Us

Kevin Silverman is the Chief Investment Officer and Portfolio Manager of Sterling Partners Equity Advisors. Before joining Sterling, Kevin was managing the small cap value strategies and a 40-act fund at a boutique value shop, Falcon Capital Management. Before co-founding Falcon, Kevin was a partner at Dearborn Partners where he was CIO of the institutional value team and the Portfolio Manager for the value strategies. He also managed the strategies at Third River Capital Management, a family office and institutional manager later acquired by Dearborn. Before co-founding Third River and its predecessor, Kevin was part of a small team managing the $3 billion, ABN AMRO Large-Cap Growth Fund. He also spent over a decade as a Sell-Side Analyst and Managing Director at ABN AMRO Securities and Everen Securities covering consumer discretionary, industrial distribution and healthcare distribution industries. Prior to that, Kevin spent seven years as an Analyst at Harris Associates/Oakmark. Kevin received a MS in Finance and a BBA in Finance from University of Wisconsin-Madison, and is a CFA^® charterholder and committee member in the CFA Society of Chicago.
